Left Atrial Appendage Closure Procedure
Atrial fibrillation can mean a lifetime of blood thinners and increased risk of bleeding.
Left atrial appendage closure procedures are an ALTERNATIVE TO BLOOD THINNERS. This one time, minimally invasive procedure permanently reduces stroke risk without the increased risk of bleeding from blood thinners.
These procedures provide peace of mind by reducing the risk of bleeding from certain medical conditions, urgent surgery, and falls. It also allows for patients to live a more active lifestyle.
