Dr. RAYMOND Yeow, M.D.
Dr. Raymond Yeow is an Interventional and Structural Cardiologist who will be joining West Michigan Cardiology in August 2025. Originally hailing from Ann Arbor, he earned his Bachelor of Science (BS) in Cell & Molecular Biology and Biomedical Sciences at Grand Valley State University (GVSU) and his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Oakland University William Beaumont (OUWB) School of Medicine. He returned home to Ann Arbor to complete his residency, chief residency, and Cardiology fellowship at the University of Michigan. He further went on to complete an Interventional Cardiology fellowship and a Structural Heart fellowship at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Yeow’s clinical practice focuses on treating patients with complex coronary artery disease and structural / valvular heart disease. He has experience with a wide array of structural / valvular heart procedures, including but not limited to: transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), mitral and tricuspid transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER), transcatheter tricuspid valve replacement (TTVR), and transcatheter mitral valve replacement (TMVR) for degenerated bioprosthetic valves. Dr. Yeow is also experienced in left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) procedures for patients with atrial fibrillation, patent foramen ovale (PFO) closures for patients with cryptogenic strokes, and atrial septal defect (ASD) closures in congenital heart patients with ASDs.
Dr. Yeow is thrilled to be returning to Grand Rapids to serve the West Michigan community. He believes in developing a therapeutic relationship with each of his patients – one that is built on a foundation of trust, empathy, and shared decision making. He utilizes a patient-centered approach to the care he provides to ensure that each patient’s concerns are heard and addressed. He strives to deliver timely, accessible, and compassionate care, treating every patient as he would wish to be treated himself. In his free time, Dr. Yeow enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, playing sports (especially basketball and golf), and exploring new places.
