Cardiac rehab is a monitored exercise and education program. A heart monitor (EKG) will be placed to watch heart rate and heart rhythm as you go through different exercises. The exercise that you do will be based on your individual needs and abilities. We will start at your fitness level and progress from there. Some of the exercise equipment available includes treadmills, bikes, seated steppers, and weight training. The other half of the program is education. The three categories of education include nutrition (teaching and cooking demonstrations), exercise, and healthy mindset (stress, healthy sleep, etc.).
